All 3 groups work hand in hand to bring greater service and greater progress to the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

The Mu Omicron Sigma Chapter serves the Eastern Shore of Maryland alongside the Rhosebud and Rhoer clubs.
The Nu Delta chapter serves the Eastern Shore of Maryland with a focus on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and surrounding community.
GRADUATE
Eastern Shore of Maryland
Women interested in joining Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, through the Mu Omicron Sigma chapter must hold a degree from a four-year accredited college or university.

Interested women must also:

Demonstrate a substantial amount of leadership experience and/or willingness to lead​

Demonstrate a commitment to serving the community​

Show adequate interest in the chapter as well as the organization as a whole
Already a member?
Coming back home is easy. Reactivation applies to currently inactive Sorors who wish to return to active membership. Reactivation is the first step to reconnecting. Reactivation fees are waived for 2022!

Transferring applies to currently active Sorors who wish to switch from their current chapter and join Mu Omicron Sigma. This also applies to Sorors who have recently graduated from undergrad and wish to join a grad chapter upon receipt of their degree.

UNDERGRADUATE
University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Potential undergraduate students interested joining Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, through the Nu Delta chapter at the University of Maryland Easten Shore must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Must be a full-time student at UMES
-
First-time students must be a Sophomore
-
​​Transfer students must have earned at least 28 semester hours at UMES
-
​Must have earned a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
-
​​Demonstrate a substantial amount of leadership experience and/or willingness to lead

Demonstrate a commitment to serving the community

Show adequate interest in the chapter as well as the organization as a whole

AFFILIATE GROUPS
Rhosebuds & Rhoers
Rhosebuds
The Rhosebud Club is an affiliate group consisting of a diverse group of girls ages 8 to 11.
To be eligible for membership in the Rhosebud Club, a girl must:

Submit a completed application

Exhibit good standards of character and conduct

Show willingness to follow all rules and regulations of the Rhosebud Club and participate in Rhosebud sponsored activities

Rhoers
The Rhoer Club is an affiliate group consisting of a diverse group of young women ages 12 to 18.
To be eligible for membership in the Rhoer Club, a girl must:
-
Present at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher, Pastor, school counselor, or person of reputation within the communit
-
A minimum of a 2.5 Grade Point Average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
-
Exhibit high standards of character and conduct
-
Willingness to follow all rules and regulations of the Rhoer Club and participate in Rhoer sponsored activities.
